Devoted and beloved wife of 55 years to Robert A. George.

Beloved mother to Todd George (Tara Williams) and Michael (Kelly) George. Linda was a cherished grandmother to Avery, Ethan, Madeline, and Ella.

Linda graduated from Hopewell High School in 1964, received her bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University and master’s in education from the University of Louisville. She was active in the church throughout her life as a parishioner and as a teacher in St. Elizabeth of Hungary’s CCD program.

Linda was an avid gardener and true green thumb. She always maintained an array of beautiful plants and flowers in and around her home. Linda treasured vacationing with family on the beaches of Hilton Head Island, SC. The peaceful breeze on the beach and beautiful landscape throughout the island always brought her a sense of calm, happiness, and relaxation. She valued family first and foremost and held an inner strength throughout her life that functioned as an unbreakable bond. She is a child of Christ, displaying her faith to others through example and action.
