Imogene Goodman Haney passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024, at 3:18am. Born on January 7, 1943, in Sweetwater, TN. Imogene was a beloved member of her community and is survived by her "Best Friend" and loving companion Julius Vincent and her niece Dona Grant and Sharon Long.


Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Maybell Goodman. She spent over 35 years working as a supervisor in a textile mill in Chickamauga, GA, where she was known for her diligence and leadership.


In her retirement, Imogene resided in Gautier, MS, enjoying a quiet life filled with love and companionship. Though she and Julius never had children of their own, they made a significant impact by helping to raise many children from their extended family, friends, and neighborhood, providing love, guidance, support and to all was known as Mamma Jean.


Mamma Jean's legacy of kindness, hard work, and dedication to others will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
