Elsie I. King, 85, of Rockwood, passed away peacefully at her home, on May 18, 2024. She is a daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Benford. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Lowery and Les King; daughter, Tracey Will; grandchildren, Bud and Justin Hinkle and Lori, Johnny and Robert Phillippi; and great-grandson, Preston Phillippi. Elsie is survived by children, Brenda Phillippi, Dana (James) Hoover, Jack (Pam) Lowery and Kenneth King; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Carol Barron, Sharon Dunmyer, Jennie Gary and Mike Benford. Elsie worked at 7-Springs for most of her life and retired at age 70. She enjoyed her life to the fullest, whether it was going to bingo, the casinos or just hanging out at the pond fishing. She also enjoyed watching her great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am at MILLER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY of Somerset.
