Nazaree Virginia Tellous Obituary

“Remembering 
                           “NAZAREE”

 Nazaree Virginia Tellous Glasco was peacefully called from labor to reward Sunday     May12, 2024 after shortly living at Mt. Pleasant Rehabilitation Center. She was born to the late God fearing, Christian parents, Thomas Tellous and Mamie Lipscomb .           

In addition to her parents she was also proceeded in death by her late husband Otis Glasco, 
brother Thomas Tellous Jr, and one brother -in- law Clinton Rogers.

 She was a member of Jones Chapel A.M.E Church at an early age. After relocating to
 St. Louis Missouri Nazaree united with Ascension St.Paul Catholic Church where she was very faithful until her health decline. Regardless, of where she lived God was always her priority. 

She graduated from Clarke High School in.   1948 in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Nazaree continued her formal education at Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Nazaree majored in Business Education she received her B.A. Degree from Harris Teachers College in St. Louis Missouri. Nazaree taught both Elementary and High School students with a total of 37 years invested in the St. Louis, Missouri School System. She worked on her Master's Degree at Fontbonne University and Webster University.

 She was an Alumni member of Tennessee State University, very active in many clubs and activities. Specifically, the OAKS Club which stands for Older Active Kids. Her Servants Heart was phonemal when it came to Advocating for these kids.

Nazaree loved looking good and she represented what a professional woman should exemplify inside and out to meet many opportunities for women to succeed. 

Nazaree Virginia Tellous Glasco is 
“SMILING “ down from Heaven as she has bid this old world of pain and suffering,  FAREWELL I will meet you on the other side!!!
