Oren Olen Rembold, 93, of Springs, PA, died Thursday, May 16, 2024, at UPMC Somerset, Somerset, PA.


Born October 26, 1930, in Meyersdale, PA, he was the son of the late Homer and Nettie (Livengood) Rembold. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean (Diehl) Rembold, December 11, 2019; one sister, Thelma Shoemaker; two grandchildren.


Mr. Rembold was the owner and operator of Rembold Construction. He was a member of the Springs Mennonite Church, Salisbury Lions Club, Somerset Co. Homebuilders Association and AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association).


He is survived by two sons, Mike (Joy) Rembold, Strongsville, OH; Richard (Gina) Rembold, Somerset, PA; two daughters, Susan (Kirby) Barclay, Somerset; Linda (Chris) Pinnick, Fayetteville, WV; one brother, Edgar Rembold, Springs; one sister, Cleo Saylor, Salisbury, PA; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.


Visitation will be held at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, MD, on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in the Springs Mennonite Church at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor John Verburg officiating.
