Tammy Sue (Allen) Maher went home to be with the Lord, on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the age of 61. She was born October 22, 1962, to Elzie and Darla (Writer) Allen. She was born and raised in Shell Knob, Mo, where she lived her whole life. Enjoyed visits with family and loved the Ozarks.


Tammy is survived by her sons Josh (Callie) Maher of Marionville, MO, and Allen (Brooke) Maher of Shell Knob, MO. Brother Ricky Allen (Eden) of Eureka Springs. Stepbrothers Bob (Jenni) Nielsen of New Baden, Illinois and Tim (Robin) Nielsen of Whitehouse, TN. Grandchildren Levi, Gracie, Kiyah, and Korah Maher.


Preceded in death by dad Elzie Allen, mother Darla (Writer) Allen, and stepmother Karen (Nielsen) Allen.


A service to celebrate Tammy’s life will be held Monday, May 20, 2024, at Lohmer Tower Church, North of Shell Knob at 6 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Shell Knob Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at shellknobfuneralhome.com. © Shell Knob Funeral Home 2024.
