Cole John Watson Obituary

WATSON, COLE JOHN 1996-2024

It is with broken hearts that we announce Cole John Watson has passed away Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Hamilton General Hospital ICU Trauma unit after a tragic motorcycle accident, at the age of 28 years old while in his Mom and Dad's arms.

Forever loved by his proud parents John and Trish (Tufts) Watson, and loving grandson of Marguerite Tufts. Predeceased by his grandparents, Gene and Gertrude Watson and Donald Tufts. Cole leaves behind truly saddened aunts and uncles and many especially proud cousins. Cole was so good at so many things. He played hockey, volleyball, baseball and loved getting out and riding his motorcycle. Special thank you to his many friends, Joey, TJ, Dallas and Zoey, Brandon, Jordan, Cara, and Cole's girlfriend Ashley, who all camped out for the week to offer support.

Cole, you fought so hard to stay with us and we are thankful for the extra time we got to be with you. You are free from the pain now and one with the angels watching over us. We love you so much and we'll miss you forever.

The family will be received at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Tuesday, May 21st from 1:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to honor Cole's life will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 22nd at 12:00 noon. The service may also be viewed on the Pelham Funeral Home’s FACEBOOK PAGE https://www.facebook.com/pelhamfh/ on the day of the service. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. We will then gather at the Meridian Centre Fonthill upstairs, for laughter, love, refreshments and remembering the special man of our lives.

John and Trish are so thankful for all of the many thoughts, prayers and gifts of food during this difficult time.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Welland Humane Society or the Hamilton Mark Preece House where ICU families can stay.
