Andrea C. Taylor Obituary

ELIZABETHVILLE - Andrea C. "Andi'" Taylor, 72, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, in the comfort of her home with her loving husband and sons by her side.

Andi was born on February 19, 1952, to Eugene "Corky" Taylor and Phoebe (Shaffer) Taylor of Elizabethville, PA.

Andi graduated from Upper Dauphin High School in 1970 and received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Spanish from Mansfield University, and earned her master's degree in education at UCLA.

After graduating from Mansfield University, Andi moved out west and ended up in Los Angeles where she worked as a supervisor for the United States Post Office. Andi moved back to her hometown of Elizabethville and then to Lancaster where she worked at the Line Mountain Middle School as a Middle School teacher. Andi was 59 when she retired from teaching after 25 years. She was a wonderful teacher who impacted so many lives. In her retirement years you could find Andi with her family often or dining at her local watering hole ("Hot Z's") with her loving husband, Bobby. Bobby and Andi were inseparable and perfect for each other.

She was known to all as a free spirit who loved playing the piano, her Phillies/Eagles, and her remarkable love for her family, grandchildren and her 2 sons, Bryan, and Mike. She also loved to travel. Many followed her many adventures on Facebook as she adventured across the USA. She was able to visit 48 states! Andi lived her life to the fullest and impacted so many along the way. She would want you to work hard and be successful, put family first, but always remember to stop and smell the roses once in a while.

Andi was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene "Corky" Taylor and Phoebe Taylor, and her brother, Todd Taylor.

Andi is survived by her loving husband Robert 'Bobby' Kohlman of 16 years; her sons Bryan Robertson (Mary Robertson) and Michael Robertson (Shantell Robertson); stepdaughters Kacey, Kara, and Kelly; grandchildren Trajan, Jaylen, Noah, Nylah, Sienna, Kensie, Ryder, Keller, Juliette, Breezy, Charlie, and Dash.
