Mr. Michael Lee Francisco, 67 of Hurricane passed away May 15, 2024, at home.

Mike is retired from the Painters Local Union # 970 and was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling, spending time with his family, and especially his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Audrey Francisco; brother David Francisco; and uncle Eddie Rhodes.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mrs. Sharon Francisco; three children Shane Francisco and wife Kelly, Matthew Francisco and wife Amy, and Amber Gray and husband Chad; close brother Mark Francisco; brother Danny Francisco; sister Rhonda Francisco; special sister-in-law Clara Rhodes and close friends and neighbors Mike and April Carpenter. Mike was “Daddy Mike” to his four grandchildren Courtney, Mitchell, Kayla, and Haley and two great grandchildren Jordan and Braylee and one great grandchild on the way.

A tribute to the life of Mr. Michael Francisco will be 12:00 PM Monday May 20, 2024, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel with Jason Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday May 19, 2024, at the funeral home.
