Micheline "Michelle" House Obituary

Micheline House (née Goudreault), affectionately known as Grandma Mimi, passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 62, in the comfort of her home in Lethbridge, Alberta. She was born on February 15, 1962, in Haileybury, ON, to a large French-Canadian family. Her and her siblings were raised in Bretour on a farm and eventually moved to a small village, Belle Vallée, when she was still quite young.

Micheline was the youngest of 17 children, and her large family brought her many years of laughter, love and memories throughout her early life. She was very proud to be a Goudreault and always spoke highly of her family's character and integrity. She also loved nothing more than being a mom and grandmother, cherishing any time spent with her children and grandchildren. Micheline's children, Amélie, Brock, and Adam, and daughter-in-law Priscilla, will forever hold her love and memory close to their hearts. Her grandchildren, Sarah, Scott, Leslie, Jordan, Alyssa, and Leanne, brought her joy and pride, as she was able to watch them grow into young adults. Micheline was also blessed to have and know her great-grandchildren Natalia, Ember, and Gideon.

Known for her sunny disposition and infectious smile, Micheline approached life with a positive outlook. She found solace in walking around Henderson Lake in Lethbridge and cherished moments spent camping with family and biking around town or taking walks with friends. Micheline was hardworking and dedicated, always putting her best effort into maintaining her home and any job she took on.

Micheline is survived by her many siblings, nieces, and nephews, who will fondly remember her as a loving sister and aunt. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, both for her unwavering love and the joy she brought into their lives.

As we bid farewell to Micheline House, we celebrate a life well-lived, even though sadly cut much too short, and the lasting impact she had on her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love and gratitude.
