Jyvette Eunice Hillman was born on June 21, 1968, to Brenda Hillman in Newark, NJ.

She was raised in Newark, Irvington, and East Orange NJ attending various school districts. She then relocated to East Rutherford NJ, where she attended High School.

At a very young age, Jyvette showed a deep passion for music and dance. Wherever there was music, you would find her dancing and singing. Her smile and laughter were loud and very infectious. She was known for her genuine heart, and her larger-than-life personality. Jyvette loved her entire family wholeheartedly and showed them how much each time they were together.

She was preceded in death by her son; Jarrett Jeffries, whom she loved and cherished dearly.

Jyvette leaves precious memories to her mother; Brenda Hillman Solomon, sons; Brenton Hillman and Emmanuel Hillman, five grandsons; Jha’mavi, Jha’shon, De’Jour, Jae’Ceon, and Jai’Sir, brothers; Daniel Rashay Hillman and Clinton Solomon, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, and friends who loved and will miss her dearly.
