Danny D. Potter, age 72, of Berea, KY passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024. Born in Letcher County, KY on May 31, 1951, to Frank and Sarah Hall Potter, Danny was a cherished brother, father, and grandfather.

Danny's journey through life was marked by his dedicated service at Dresser Industries, from which he retired, and his involvement with various associations that enriched his professional and personal life.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Carlene Matlock Potter, his parents, sisters Emma Halcomb, Caroline Potter, and brothers-in-law Charlie Bailey and George McCartney, Danny's legacy lives on through his loving family. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kim (Scott) Webster; his adored grandchildren, Mackenzie, Ryan, and Ashley Webster; his brother, Harold (Shirl) Potter; sisters, Mildred Ruth Bailey and Betty McCartney; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Lakes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
