Jane Tomlinson Dreitzler Obituary

What a beautiful spring we have enjoyed, celebrating all that has come along.. babies, new loves, old friendships renewed, gardens planted, and all that spring will bring. These are all good things we share with friends and family, spreading the joy of life. A more difficult sharing is that Jane Tomlinson Dreitzler has left us this April 28th, 2024. Born December 14th, 1943, in Nashville Georgia to Mary Bell Hanks Tomlinson and John L Tomlinson.  Jane was the youngest of three who all grew up in Valdosta GA. She met her late husband Ralph Dreitzler in Anchorage AK, grew her family in Seattle WA, and has spent the last 40 years in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. Her last years were in Matthews, NC close to her oldest son Christopher . Her youngest, Jonathan, lives in Seattle WA as well as her adored two grandchildren Isabella and Julian. Her sister, Sylvia Tomlinson Davis lives in Valdosta with her husband Bobby. Nephews Danny and David live abroad, and we kindly remember her late nephew Bucky. Her brother Pat Tomlinson, his wife Jane and her nephew Paul have also passed and are survived by nieces Terri and Angie and nephews Phil and Jimmy. Jane was a kind and understanding soul and was happiest sharing her table with great food and conversation. She was a master of culinary art and not afraid to flambé or to challenge the Yorkshire pudding to lift. She would create beautiful, delicious and decadent treats for the people she loved and her chicken piccata was famous among many. Friends and family will miss her dearly and cherish the many joys of having known and cared for our dear sweet Jane. She will be remembered with love.
