Washburn: Billie Ann Roy 68, passed away at her home in Washburn on May 13, 2024. She was born August 24, 1955 in Warren, Michigan the daughter of Bill and Eleanore (York) Harris. She graduated Presque Isle High School, class of 1973. Billie worked as bookkeeper for Maine Potato Growers, and Northeast Publishing. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Roy of Washburn, two sons; David Roy and his girlfriend Heather of Portland, and Daniel Roy of Washburn, two sisters Wanda Dyer and Jeannie Sawyers, two half-brothers Larry and Danny Gould, and special cousins in Michigan. She was predeceased by her parents, and a sister Gloria Legassie. A graveside service will be held 1pm May 29, 2024 at Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou with pastor Joshua Tate officiating. Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice or to a place of worship. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bowers Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Presque Isle.
