Roberto "Robert" Figueroa Obituary

Mr. Roberto Figueroa, known as Robert, passed away at the age of 64 on Sunday May 12, 2024. Robert was born June 7, 1959, in Mexico to Severo and Isabel (Arista) Figueroa. He proudly served our country as a soldier in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. In his free time, he enjoyed barbecuing and was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan.


He was preceded in death by his parents; his three brothers, Jose, Francisco, Guillermo Figueroa; and his sister, Isidra Ramona Garza.


Robert is survived by his spouse, Corrina Gonzales; his son, Jacob Figueroa, and his former wife Sally Avila; his two children, Melissa Molina and Robert Figueroa Jr.; his stepchildren, Adrianna Gonzales, Joshua, Jacob, Nicholas, and Vanessa Jimenez; his brother, Pedro Leos; his four sisters, San Juanita Noyala, Rosalinda Leos, Leticia Longoria & Margarita Rivero; and his grandchildren, nieces and nephews who loved him.


Visitation will be on Friday, May 16, 2024, at Flores Funeral Home, 219 S Mayberry St. from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will start at 7:00 pm. Burial will be the following day at 1:00 pm at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, 2520 Inspiration Rd. Funeral arrangements are under the compassionate care of Flores Funeral Home of Mission.
