December 10, 1950 – November 5, 2017


 


 


Stanley “Buster” Dushon of Huntington, VT passed away on November 5, 2017.  Stanley was born December 10, 1950 to Genevieve (Culver) Gillette and Charles Dushon.


 


Stanley served two tours of Vietnam. Upon his return was a mechanic for many years. He enjoyed watching westerns, listening to old country music, and fishing.


 


Surviving are his children Stacy Dushon, Stephanie Benoit, Kris Fisk, Jennifer White, Hope Burdick; 12 grandchildren, Dustin Benoit, Elaina, Ben, Izayah and Lily White, Kordell, Trevett, Emileigh, Bromlei and Walker Fisk and Desarae and Hunter Norton; twin sister Shirlene “Tootie” Pelkey and Nancy Lovett, and his brother, long-time caregiver and best friend John Gillette and his wife Lisa, his niece Haylee Gillette her fiancé Eric and their son Bentley, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.


 


Stanley was pre-deceased by his parents, step-father Frank Gillette, a son L. Floyd Charles Dushon, aunts and uncles.


 


A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 9 at 1pm in Maplewood Cemetery, Huntington, VT. 


We are having a family gathering with food and refreshments at the Huntington community church annex.
