June LaVerne Tischler (nee Goede), 102, of Parma Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. She was born on June 5, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Tischler; her loving parents Fairy and Ivan Geode; her sisters Betty Wolf, Doris Goede and her close friend Al Kostalany. She is survived by her daughters Sharyn Waybright (Nelson) of West Virginia, Gayle Zippilli (Tom) of Parma, and son Robert Tischler (Patti) of Parma. June will be remembered by her 8 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. June was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Cleveland for many years doing volunteer work for the church through the Ladies Aid. She was devoted to her family and always wanted them together for the holidays. June will be remembered for her enjoyment of gardening, her love of dogs and bird watching. Friends may gather at the O'CONNOR BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 5904 RIDGE ROAD, PARMA, OH 44129 on Friday, May 17 from 4-7PM. Funeral Service to be conducted at St. James Lutheran Church, 4771 Broadview Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109 on Saturday, May 18 at 10AM. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment at Lutheran Cemetery following funeral services.
