Louis A. Ule Obituary

Louis A. Ule, a devoted family man and cherished friend, passed away on May 10, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on December 27, 1955, Louis's life was a testament to love, laughter, and cherished moments with those he held dear.

Louis's greatest joy in life was his family. He treasured every moment spent with them and held them close to his heart. His love for his wife of 44 years, Jackie, was unwavering, and he was a pillar of support and strength for his children: Louis, Michael, and Brenda. Louis's deep affection for his family was evident in his every action and word.

When he wasn't surrounded by his loved ones, Louis could often be found indulging in his favorite hobbies. He had a passion for fishing, particularly for walleye and perch, and spent countless hours on the tranquil waters of Lake Erie, enjoying the solitude and the thrill of the catch. Additionally, Louis discovered a love for golf later in life, finding solace and joy on the green.

Louis dedicated over 25 years of his life to serving the City of Norton on the street department, where his hard work and dedication made a lasting impact on the community. Even after retirement, he continued to share his warmth and kindness as a starter at Spring Hills Golf Club and Chippewa, where he forged many meaningful friendships.

Louis was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ule, father, Louis Ule, sister, Noreen (Ralph) Johnson, brother-in-law, Ralph Krall, and granddaughter, Jaclynn Hobbs. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be carried on by his beloved family: his wife Jackie (Swain) Ule; sons Louis Ule (Krista) and Michael Barclay (Jenny); daughter Brenda Hobbs; sister Terry Krall; grandchildren Hunter and Wyatt Ule, Heather (Nick) Fling, Sara Hobbs, Jeffrey, Justin, and Jaret Barclay; and great-grandchildren Jace, Meredith and Savannah Fling. Also, numerous nieces and nephews.

Louis's loving nature was evident in his daily interactions, always reminding his family, "Has anyone told you they love you today? I do!" His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his memory will be cherished forever.

A celebration of Louis's life will be held on May 25, 2024, from 1pm to 4pm at Grace Church in Norton, located at 3970 S Cleveland-Massillon Rd, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory. Food will be provided as we come together to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched the hearts of many.
