Robert Que "Bob" Meason, Jr. Obituary

Robert Que Meason, Jr. was born December 7, 1945 to Robert Que Meason, Sr. and Nina Rhea Meason in Memphis, Texas. He grew up in Childress, Texas and attended and graduated from Childress ISD. He went on to college at San Angelo State, where he played football. He graduated with a teacher’s degree and his first teaching and coaching job was at Albany ISD. He also worked in the oilfield for a while but went back to teaching and coaching. He had a great love for raising animals. His prize dogs, Jazz and Bella, will greatly miss him. He also loved gardening, yardwork and flowers. He loved being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nina Rhea Meason; his father, Robert Que Meason, Sr.; his brother, Kerry Dale Meason; and his wife, Connie Lynn Meason.


He is survived by his present wife, Patricia Meason; one son, Benjamin Meason; one adopted daughter, Robin Meason; step-son, Guy Craig and wife Sandra; granddaughter, Jessica Craig; step-son, Kelsey Otts and wife Sirena; grandsons, Nathan Batek, Chris Otts, Zach Otts; granddaughter, Abigail Otts; and step-daughters, Lisa Cauble and husband Joe Bob, Kari Anderson and husband Dusty, Rebecca Henderson and husband Chris.


A memorial service will be held at the Woodson Cemetery under their new pavilion at 1 p.m. on June 1st, led by Mark Wilcox.
