Patsy Ann Wright passed away on May 14th 2024 at the age of 82 at her home in Geary, Ok surrounded by her family. Patsy was born on November 3rd 1941 to Ray and Joy Stevens. G.L. and Patsy married on January 10, 1959 at First Christian Church in Geary, OK.

Patsy graduated from Geary High School and then attended Beauty School. She had her salon Pat’s Beauty Shop in Geary for many years alongside her Craft Shop. Patsy raised numerous breeds of dogs over the years. If she wasn’t checking up on her kids or grandkids, you could find her writing in her daily journal keeping track of the family, the weather, and her day-to-day life. Patsy always had a book in her hands along with working on a puzzle in her back room. She enjoyed Volunteering at the Geary Library and being involved in the local food pantry. She was a lifelong member of the New Life Assembly of God Church in Geary. She and G.L. enjoyed spending time together at the casino. Patsy and G.L.  made many lifelong friends including the Duncans, Bakers, Briscoes, Busers , Kurtzs, Millers and many many others. Patsy and G.L. could also be found at Fort Cobb Lake or horse races spending time with family and friends. But her favorite thing of all was snuggling up to her beloved Moose.

Patsy Wright was preceded in death by her husband; G.L. Wright; and Parents; Ray Stevens and Joy Stevens.

She is survived by Her sons; Craig Wright & wife Lorinda of Geary, OK, George (Lynn) Wright Jr and wife Kitty of Geary, OK.  Granddaughters; Korie Johnson and husband Elijah of Tulsa, OK, Meghan Robertson and husband David of Watonga, OK, Melany Wright of Geary, OK, Melinda Wright of Geary, OK, Hilary Wright and fiancé Layton Gould of OKC, OK. Grandson; Luke Wright of Watonga, OK. Step grandsons; Cole and Karsten Allen. Great-grandsons; Kaden Wright, Mason Dixon, Trevor Dixon, and Sullivan Johnson. Great-granddaughter; Cecelia Johnson and Everly Robertson; and her Sister; Wilda Kerr of Bridgeport, OK, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
