Ronnie William Brown, 85 of White Hall passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at his home. He was born, April 23, 1939 in Eldred, the son of William and Neta Ruyle Brown. He married Ruth Ann Buchanan on August 14, 1969 and she survives.


He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Brown; daughter Melissa Brown (Ed Crone); son Chad William Brown (Linda) all of White Hall; twelve grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Jessica, Tabitha, Tony C., Ronnie M., Brandon, Sabrina, Caleb, Makendra, Brady, Lakeleigh, and Keaton; several great grandchildren; brother, Tony Joe Brown (Debra); sisters, Dixie Snyder and Linda Dunlap. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, JoAnn Brown.


Ronnie owned and operated Brown’s Trucking Service with his brother Tony for over fifty years. Ronnie loved driving and working on trucks. Ronnie also enjoyed going to flea markets and antique malls. He also enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ronnie and Ruth would have celebrated 55 years of married this August. Ronnie will be greatly missed by all who knew him.


A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church in White Hall with burial to follow in Pine Tree Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
