Norma June Fulmer, age 96 of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.


Per Norma’s wishes, cremation rites have taken place. There will be no services held at this time.


Norma was born on January 13, 1928, the daughter of William and Irene (Peters) Dolezal. She graduated from Tama High School in 1947.


Norma was a stay-at-home mom, raising her 3 children, Carolyn, Kenneth and Steven. Later she worked at the Tama Juvenile School. In her free time, Norma enjoyed caring for her family, watching political TV shows, reading and eating ice cream.


Norma was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Billy Dolezal, Madeline Burton, Evelyn Pepple, Eugene Dolezal; and granddaughter, Andrea Welch. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Welch, Kenneth Fulmer and Steven Fulmer; grandchildren, Justin Ray, Derick Fulmer and Leigha Welch; and siblings, Harold Dolezal of South Carolina and David Dolezal of Des Moines.
