Graveside services for Mr. Elwood Glenn Herrington will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Pineville, with Reverend Sammie Morrow officiating, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.


Mr. Herrington, 91, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 13, 2024, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA.


Elwood was a retired operator for Texas Gas Transmission. He was also a homebuilder and designer. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Herrington; his parents, Louis and Era Herrington; two brothers; and one sister.


Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include one son, Randy Herrington of Pineville; two daughters, Tonnie Anderson (Bob) of Cabot, Arkansas, and Brigitte Kime of Baton Rouge; one sister; one grandchild, Connie Gomez; and two great grandchildren.
