Eula Mae Warren Obituary

Eula Mae Warren, affectionately known as Mae to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the age of 92, in her hometown of Paducah, Kentucky. Born on July 7, 1931 to the late Edwin and Tinnie House Guess, Mae was a lifelong resident of Paducah, where she touched the lives of many with her loving spirit and faith-filled presence.

Mae spent her professional life as a dedicated sales associate at the local Christian Bookstore, where she was not only a familiar face but also a source of support and inspiration to the community. Her work was a reflection of her deep faith, which she lived out as an active member of the Margaret Hank Memorial Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mae's commitment to her church was evident in her regular attendance at the weekly Women's Circle Meetings, where she shared her wisdom and compassion with fellow members.

Her creative soul shone brightly through her love of sewing, a skill she honed over the years with great passion. Mae's creativity was matched by her enthusiasm for yard sales, a hobby that allowed her to connect with others while discovering hidden treasures. Above all, Mae cherished her family, and her love for them was the cornerstone of her life.

Mae is survived by one grandson; Josh Glisson of Paducah, KY and one granddaughter Amber Tyree of Evansville, IN.

Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Warren O.D.; one daughter, Vonna Glisson; one son, Chuck Tyree; three sisters, Mary Green, Viola O’Brian, and Belle Crooks; three brothers, Buddy Guess, Joe Guess, and Omar Guess; and one granddaughter, Tammy Morfield.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Brother David Gossum officiating.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service hour of 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
