Dina Elizabeth DeLeon Obituary

Dina E. DeLeon, 52, formerly of Victoria, entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth surrounded by loving family members.


Dina was born in Kingsville on March 5, 1972, to Joseph V. DeLeon (Lilia) and Maria R. Walton of Victoria.


She attended schools in VISD and graduated from Victoria High School, Class of 1990. She attended Texas A&I University, Kingsville.


She held numerous positions during her employment in sales, patient care for Gulf Bend MHMR facilities. At the time of her death, she was employed as a Child Nutritional Specialist for the Aledo Independent school district where she loved interacting with the students.


Dina was happiest was being “Nana” spending time with her grandson!


Dina was known for her generous heart, willingness to help family and friends with all that she had to share and giving her last to help loved ones in need.


She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joe L and Beatrice V DeLeon, maternal grandfather Manuel Anzaldua, her former husband Alvin (Tuk) McGrew Jr, and her stepfather, Jeffery W Walton.


She is survived by her longtime companion, Roston Jackson, III (Tray), her children, Kirrah Rose Moss (Bruce), Trenton White, and Alina Raelyn McGrew, her grandson Kaynen Vu Mai and a granddaughter expected August 2024, all of Hudson Oaks, Texas.


In addition to her parents, she is survived by siblings, Joseph Manuel DeLeon (Marie), of Hudson Oaks, Mercedes Rae Walton, Jada Elaine Walton, of Victoria as well as half-sister Fancy DeLeon and stepbrother Henry Pena. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Ada V. Anzaldua of Harlingen as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.


Public viewing is on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM with a service at 7:00 PM at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy., in Victoria, Texas. A private service for burial at a later date.
