Patricia Oliverio Gallorini Obituary

Patricia “Trish” Oliverio Gallorini, 61, was the daughter and seventh-born child of the late Dr. Vincent Thomas and Kathleen Moore Oliverio. She passed peacefully from this earth into the merciful and loving arms of our Lord on May 14, 2024.

Trish was a 1980 graduate of Northwood High School in Wheaton. She attended classes at the University of Maryland where she studied horticulture. Trish was an accomplished florist who owned her own shop and worked for many floral companies designing arrangements for a multitude of events including special occasions hosted at the White House. She graciously and enthusiastically shared her inimitable artistic talents throughout her lifetime, insisting on sharing her unique arrangements for the multitude of Oliverio parties and gatherings over many decades. Trish also inherited from her parents their gourmet culinary skills, from which she took enormous delight and satisfaction by frequently sharing and entertaining her family and friends.

Trish was the loving mother of Angelina (Ryan) and Antonio Gallorini, grandmother of Zepplin and Aria. Predeceased by her sister Catherine Huff, she also leaves nine siblings, John Oliverio, Mary Oliverio, Margaret Konieczka, Nancy Farinacci, Matthew Oliverio, Martin Oliverio, Joseph Oliverio, James Oliverio and Monica Stewart, fifty-five nieces and nephews and over thirty-five grand-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at 9:15 am on Monday May 20, 2024 at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 11600 Kemp Mill Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20902, followed at 10:00 am by a Mass of Christian Burial. The burial rites will be administered at Gate of Heaven Cemetery immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Casey House (Montgomery Hospice).
