Ronald J. Bittner, age 63, of Nekoosa, WI, died Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at his home under the care of St. Croix Hospice and Wisconsin VA Clinics.


A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date.


Ron was born November 30, 1960 in Wisconsin Rapids to Robert and Betty (Wheeler) Bittner. He married Cindy (Gustin) in Las Vegas, NV on February 17, 2002. Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during peacetime. He was stationed in both England and throughout the United States. Ron was employed by Domtar in Nekoosa for many years before his retirement.


Ron was an avid hunter and enjoyed grilling steaks on the grill. His favorite thing, was spending time with both his family and friends.


Ron is survived by his wife Cindy Bittner, children: Alisa Schrader, Drew (Maxine) Irwin, granddaughter Eleanor Schrader, siblings: David (Sue) Bittner of Wis. Rapids, Russell Bittner, Peggy (Edward) Meyer of Las Vegas, NV and Patricia (Dennis) Hall of Wis. Rapids.


He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Betty Bittner, sister Janice Lemke and brother-in-law John Lemke.
