Private family memorial services for Ms. Pauline Coulson, of Gilbert, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Winnsboro.


Pauline was born August 20, 1937 in Gillett, AR and passed from this life on May 13, 2024 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 86. She was a hard worker and maintained multiple jobs as a certified nurse’s aide at the DeWitt City Nursing Home in DeWitt, AR, and a cook for various restaurants there as well. She was a Christian lady who enjoyed word search puzzles, reading her Bible, telling stories about her life, especially about how her and her husband, Arlie, met. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and a friend who was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.


She is preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Hughes Coulson; two sisters, and two brothers,


Survivors include her children, Hawanda Warford and Larry Coulson, both of Gilbert, Flora Ross, and Arlie Coulson of Gillett, AR; also survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of extended family and friends.
