Lawrence Morris Dilworth, Jr., age 72, of Manchester, TN, ran into the arms of Jesus his Savior on May 15th, 2024. He was born on June 3rd, 1951 to parents Lawrence C Dilworth, Sr and Maryland Bonsall in Coatesville, PA.

Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kathleen Dilworth; daughters, Mary Wise, and Courtney (Andrew) Cox; grandchildren, Jace Wise, Serenity Cox, and Jubilee Cox; brother, David (Elizabeth) Dilworth; nephew, William Dilworth; and great aunt, Hannah Huhn. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maryland and Lawrence Dilworth, Sr.

Lawrence worked in PA as a farmer, caring for dairy cows that provided milk to local Philadelphia. He later became a maintenance man for Downingtown Area School District where he welded and made repairs throughout the district. He did all this while maintaining his own welding business on the side. He loved working outside and loved anything with a motor - from tractors and motorcycles, to snowmobiles and four wheelers. He genuinely loved spending time outdoors. He loved Jesus and studying the Bible. He was a lay-pastor for two different nursing homes and summer camps. He moved to TN in the summer of 2022 to be near family. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and love he had for his family and friends as well as his willingness to always go the extra mile for a friend or even a stranger.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist of Manchester on Saturday, June 29th, 2024 at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow.
