Brenda Lee Sharpe Obituary

Brenda Lee Sharpe went home to be with the Lord and was reunited with her beloved parents on May 10, 2024 @ 12:29 am.

She was an only child and is survived by her two children, Kera Leigh-Ann Weaver, her family; a son in law, Brian Weaver and four grandchildren, Daviney Gray, (14) Alister Nelson (12) John Wesley (3) and Ethan Lee (1yr); her son Ethan David Sharpe, his family; a daughter in law Kayla Sharpe and a son, Easten David (6).

She was devoted to her family and always put her family before herself. She was a very ambitious young woman, working a full time job while finishing her bachelor’s degree in business management at Augusta College. By the age of 25 she was a full time Mother and Branch Manager  of a major banking institution in Augusta Georgia. Training and shaping the careers of others was where she thrived and she spent the next 20+ years as a Human Resources Manager in various fields and departments and was able to share her knowledge And experience with several companies throughout her career.

She was an active member of the Junior League of Augusta and was absolutely honored  by the each opportunity she was given to help her community.

She loved singing in the choir at Reid Memorial Church and was an active member of the church for many years. She loved serving any way she could. She loved hosting families for Interfaith Hospitality Network, a  nonprofit organization where our church would volunteer to host several families in their time of need. She always made her self available and absolutely loved on and made each family feel special and welcomed. Her love language was to give. To give to her children, her grandchildren, her job, her friends, whatever non profit, the church, her parents, to give herself was what made her happy and fulfilled.

Brenda Lee was an amazing woman, she was an incredible mother, an outstanding daughter and to those who were fortunate enough to have known her; she was a loyal and trusted friend.

The world is forever changed by her absence but the wisdom she instilled in those she loved and the way she loved them, her spirit and the fire  that burned in heart could never be extinguished.

She will be forever loved and missed.
