Sandra Elaine Boyd Obituary

Funeral services for Sandra Elaine Boyd, age 79, of Rainbow City, will be held at 2pm Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Websters Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Allen Pock officiating. The family will receive friends from 1pm until time of service. Burial will follow at Landers Cemetery.


Sandra passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Boyd; and parents, Louis and Mildred Green.


Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Pamela Boyd; sons, Dr. Michael Boyd (Rose), and Tim Boyd; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Boyd, Logan Boyd (Danielle), Reese Boyd (Mattie), and Harrison Boyd; brother, Billy Green (Sandra); and several nieces and nephews.


Mrs. Boyd was a member of Websters Chapel Baptist Church. She graduated from Jacksonville High School and received her degree in accounting from Gadsden State. Sandra and her husband were the previous owners of Dixie Heating and Cooling at one time. She enjoyed genealogy and reading; she will be deeply missed.


Pallbearers will be family and friends.
