Virgil Lee Jackson, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 14, 2024, at his home in Loveland, Ohio. Born on March 26, 1930, in Flat Lick, Kentucky, Virgil was a good Christian who deeply loved the Lord and cherished his family above all else. Virgil proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Throughout his life, Virgil exuded kindness and generosity, never meeting a stranger and always offering a helping hand to those in need.


A beekeeper by passion and the proud owner of V&R Fencing, Virgil's warm smile was contagious, lighting up the room wherever he went. His compassionate spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.


Virgil is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years the late Marcella Fern Jackson, the loving father of Sandy Garrett and Ron (late Kathy) Jackson, cherished grandfather of Curtis Lee (Jen) Garrett, Rebecca Denee (John) Fromkes, Renee Leann (Jeff) Hodgeman and the late Austin Bradlee Jackson, great-grandfather of Theo Garrett, Max Garrett, Carter Fromkes, Wesley Fromkes and Bodhi Fromkes, dear brother of Gabe Jackson. He is also preceded in death by his parents Samuel Jackson and Margaret (nee Baker) Jackson.


Please join us to celebrate Virgil Lee Jackson's remarkable life where the family will receive friends at the Redeeming Grace Church, 617a Hanna Ave. Loveland, OH 45140, on Sunday, May 19th from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the church on Monday beginning at 10:30 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Myers Cemetery in Goshen.
