Robert (Bob) Petersen age 64 passed away on May 11, 2024 at Our lady of Peace Hospice.

He was born on August 29, 1959 to Anton and Marian Petersen. Bob was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend who touched the lives of many. He had a passion for all sports and his smile and kind heart endeared him to everyone he met. Bob was a dedicated worker at West Publishing/Thomson Reuter Publishing for 40 years. His commitment and work ethics were truly admirable. In his free time bob enjoyed golf, bowling, and going to the State Fair. He loved spending time with family and friends sharing stories and laughter. His legacy will live on through the memories we hold dear. Bob is survived by sister, Judy (Bruce) Hall, sister, Jan Petersen, brother, Jerry (Faye) Petersen and brother, Jim ( Cheryl) Petersen. He is also survived by niece and nephews, David (Mairin) Hall, Tim Hall, Eric (Theresa) Petersen, and Juli (Kurt) Stangler. His absence leaves a void, but we find solace in the love and memories he left behind.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 7th at 11 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Bethesda Lutheran Church 2855 47th Street East , Inver Grove Heights.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Bethesda Lutheran Church or Our Lady of Peace Hospice.

May Bob rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of those who cherished him.
