Judy Gail Hall Taylor, 83, a resident of High Point, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Hinkle Hospice Home in Lexington.
Judy was born July 10, 1940 in Guilford County to the late Paul Hall and Hazel Pierce Hall. Judy spent a majority of her life being a homemaker and raising her children, which brought her the most joy. In her younger years, she enjoyed messing in Real Estate and Taxes with her two sisters. She enjoyed life, loved going to the beach and sitting by the pool at home watching the grandkids play. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Sherrill Taylor on May 1, 2024; one son, Jeffery Taylor; one brother, Bobby Hall; one sister, Doris Whitley.
Surviving are her four sons, Randy Taylor and wife Patricia of Wallburg, Kenneth Taylor and wife Vicki of Wallburg, Steven Taylor and wife Becky of Lexington, Ronald Taylor and wife Teresa of Sunset Beach; a daughter, Judith “Kay” Collins and husband David of Thomasville; one sister, Mary Bowers of Thomasville; nine grandchildren, Kelly Ramsey and husband Seth of Welcome, Scott Collins and wife Amanda of Thomasville, Andy Taylor and wife Amber of Thomasville, Chris Taylor and wife Randee of Thomasville, Jennifer Taylor of Wallburg, Jeffery Taylor and wife Amy of Lexington, Brandi Taylor of High Point, Bobby Taylor and wife, Leigh of Denton, Miranda Beck and husband Cole of Thomasville; eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Judy will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Floral Garden Park Cemetery- 1730 West English Drive, High Point, with the Rev. Bynum Orr officiating. Judy will lie in state at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home beginning Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Davidson 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292. Online condolences may be left at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
