Steve went on the Eastern New Mexico University to obtain his Associates in Aviation Mechanics. He obtained his pilot’s license. Steve met and married the love of his life Dianna Hughes on June 3, 1972 in Roswell, New Mexico. Together they shared three beautiful children and 48 amazing years of marriage before her passing. He was always fixing something, or doing yard work which he took great pride in, working with wood, to tinkering with his old Ford tractor. Steve loved to go camping with his children, going to different places in the camper. He enjoyed going to the lake with his family where they would all go boating, skiing, tubing, and even cliff diving. Steve and Dianna both found a passion for scuba diving, they would go any chance they could. He was a kind and sweet man, always giving a helping hand where needed. Steve will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Alan Woods; Mike Woods; his loving wife, Dianna.
