Stephen Herbert LaBarge Obituary

     Stephen H. LaBarge, 75, of Manlius, passed away peacefully at home. Born in Syracuse, he was the son of the late Orville and Elizabeth (Mooney) LaBarge.   He graduated high school from Cardinal Farley Military Academy in Rhinebeck, NY, and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Marquette University in 1972.  He joined LaBarge Companies in 1968 and later served as President/CEO of the organization for many years until his retirement.  

     He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.  He remained active with Marquette University and enjoyed hot air ballooning, horses, and spending time with his family and friends.

     Surviving are his daughter, Ashley (LaBarge) Ibrahim; sons, Eric (Andrea) LaBarge, Marcus (Gabrielle Kirk) LaBarge; brother, Peter (Cheryl) LaBarge; grandchildren, Ali Ibrahim, and Lujane Ibrahim; and other members of his extended family. He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis LaBarge.

     A private mass of Roman Catholic faith will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville, NY.  

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals On Wheels Of Eastern Onondaga County or Children’s Miracle Network.
