Karl Joseph Schreiber Obituary

June 2, 1943 - May 8, 2024
Karl J. Schreiber, 80, of Brecksville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 surrounded by family. Born in Maryland to parents Mercedes Stock and Karl F. Schreiber, young Karl grew up in the Cleveland area. He attended the Ohio State University and while there, he met Mae Nyuha and they were married August 29, 1964. Following Karl's graduation in 1966 with a degree in chemistry, the young couple moved to Boston where Karl took a position with Polaroid where he worked for 20 years. Karl eventually left Polaroid and struck out on his own to work as a consultant which led to a new position as international marketing manager with BF Goodrich. Karl had always loved to travel and for his work with BF Goodrich, he traveled widely throughout Asia and the US. When he left BF Goodrich, it was to work for himself and to indulge his passion for international travel.

Karl was predeceased by his parents Mercedes and Karl F. Schreiber. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his surviving family: his loving wife of 60 years, Mae; his children Tanya, Erich (Joanna), John (Rebecca), and Michael (Jennifer); his five grandchildren, Max, Kai, Ashley, Scotty, and Cameron; and his sister Kathleen Schreiber.
