Mrs. Josefa Yanez, 81, beloved Wife, Daughter, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, and Great-great-grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on December 27, 2022. She entered this world on August 31, 1941 in Maxwell, Texas, born to Ismael and Felipa Villalobos. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victoriano Yanez, a son, David Yanez, and sisters, Isabella Gonzales, Antonia Rivas, Anette Rivas, and Juanita Mendez. Mrs. Yanez is survived by her son Alex Yanez and wife Becky; son Ralph Yanez and wife Sylvia; son Mike Yanez and wife Estella; brother Ismael Villalobos; brother Israel Villalobos; brother Jesus Villalobos; sister Zulema Torres; sister Dolores (Lola) Gonzales; 15 Grandchildren; 29 Great-grandchildren; and 3 Great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at DeLeon Funeral Home, with recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Santa Maria Aida Cemetery in Maxwell, Texas. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Joseph Yanez, Mike Yanez, II, Victoriano Yanez, Raymond Yanez, Trey Brown, and Jayden Wade Yanez.
