Willis Mast Obituary

Willis Mast, 79, of Millersburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Danbury Senior Living in Millersburg.


Willis was born in Millersburg on March 9, 1945 to the late Moses B. and Katy (Coblentz) Mast. On November 23, 1967 he married Elsie Yoder, and they enjoyed 56 wonderful years together.


In 1969, Willis and Elsie founded Mast Trucking in Millersburg. Willis loved farming, golfing, and was an avid supporter of Hiland Basketball.


Willis was not only a devoted husband, but also a loving father, grandfather, and a cherished friend to many. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elsie; his three children, Kevin (Maria) Mast, Teresa (Bob) Habeger, and Codi Mast; seven grandchildren, Luke, Lydia, and Jack Mast, and Ethan, Samuel, Carson, and Ellie Habeger; and 3 brothers, Dale (Marilou) Mast, Robert (Lee) Mast, and Ben Mast.


In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Laura Mast.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11 AM at Grace Church in Berlin with Pastor Larry Kaufman officiating.  Prior to the services, a private family burial will be in the Grace Cemetery.

Friends may call on Sunday from 5-8 PM at Grace Church in Berlin.  Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
