Brooks Holland Frazier Jr., 87, of Charlotte, passed away May 11, 2024. “Buddy” as he was known to friends and family, was born March 26, 1937, in Charlotte, North Carolina, the son of the late Brooks Holland Frazier Sr and Mary Nell McAllister Frazier.

Buddy attended Harding High School before serving his country in the United States Army. Upon return from his military service Buddy attended Charlotte College. He spent the majority of his career in construction and landscape architecture. After retirement Buddy enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the beach. He also enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Buddy was a member of the West Gate Masonic Lodge and an Oasis Shriner.

Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Patsy Hipp Frazier, son Keith H. Frazier and wife, Pamela, of Weddington, NC; sister Doris F. Carter and husband, Don of Charlotte, NC; sister-in-law, Billie Bass of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Seth, Kyle and Peyton of Weddington, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 am to 11 am on Thursday, May 16th at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Home, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203. A funeral service will follow from 11 am to 12pm. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn West in Charlotte, NC.

In leu of flowers, donations may be made in Buddy’s memory to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605 or Masonic Home for Children, 600 College St, Oxford, NC 27565.
