Booneville, KY - Frances (Conrad) Callahan, age 86, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Owsley County Health Care Center in Booneville, KY.Frances was born on May 30, 1927 in Decatur, Indiana, a daughter of the late Ance and Maggie (Banks) Conrad. She enjoyed gardening, working with flowers and watching soap operas of which her favorite was The Young and The Restless. She had a great love for her children, grandchildren and anyone that she came in contact with. She was associated with the Scoville Church of God.She is survived by four daughters; Martha (Don) Eldridge of Flemingsburg, KY, Margaret Stamper of Beattyville, KY, Dorothy (Robert) Hickman of Fishers, IN, and Fannie Callahan of Booneville, KY. Frances is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends.Frances was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter; Maxine Harris.Funeral Services will be held at the Booneville Funeral Home, Booneville, KY at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2013 with Brother Gary Conner officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, June 14, 2013 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
