Booneville, KY - Dennis Wayne "Bud" Deaton, age 59, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, KY. Dennis was born in Booneville, Owsley County, KY on October 23, 1953, a son of the late Albert and Bonnie (Marshall) Deaton. He enjoyed the sport of UK basketball; being outdoors where he would hunt arrowheads and he had a love for his pet companion yorkie dog named Cookie.He is survived by 2 brothers; Kenneth Deaton of Winchester, KY, Floyd Deaton of Cincinnati, OH, 2 sisters; Margie (Jolly) Cooper and Kay (Jr) Taylor both of Booneville, KY,nieces; Dionne McIntosh, Kaylee McIntosh Kimberly McIntosh, and Jessica Cooper. Dennis is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; George Daniel Deaton and Larry Deaton, 1 sister; Mary Lou McIntosh, nephew David McIntosh. Funeral Services will be held at the Booneville Funeral Home, Booneville, KY at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 21, 2013 with Reverend Rob Morgan officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
