Dayton, OH- Mae (Rose) Palmer, age 78, widow of the late Tommy Palmer, passed away peacefully Friday, April 25, 2014 at Friendship Village in Trotwood, OH. Mae was born October 5, 1935 in Rose Fork, KY, a daughter to the late Henry Rose and Elizabeth (Lewis) Rose. Mae was a homemaker, who enjoyed working in her flower beds and gardening.She is survived by 1 daughter; Jackie Buben of New Carlisle, OH, 1 brother; Linville (Roxy) Rose of Dayton, OH, 1 grandson; Joseph Buben III of New Carlisle, OH, she was blessed with many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends with special thanks to her nieces Roena Barber and Liz Regan for their loving care and kindness. Along with her parents and husband, Mae was preceded in death by 4 sisters; Opal Williams, Ruth Sizemore, Bernice Lockhart and baby Grace Rose, 6 brothers; Everett Rose, Paul Rose, Carl Rose, Frank Rose, Opie Rose and an infant brother. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the Palmer Cemetery in Tallega, KY at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Palmer officiating.
