Booneville, KY- Mr. Earl Raymond Long peacefully passed away February 19th 2014 at the Irvine Health and Rehabilitation Center, following a long illness. Earl Raymond Long was 87 years of age. He was a World War II veteran and a retired upholsterer of 50 years. He was preceded into death by two sons, David Wayne Long and Billy Paul Long, along with his parents, Jim and Sophie (McDaniel) Long. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Henrietta Smith Long. Three sons, Johnny and Betty Long, James and Hazel Long, Billy Long Jr., One daughter Cristy Long. Three grandsons; David Wayne Long Jr., Joshua Long, James Earl Long. Two Granddaughters; Cassie Long Crockett, Stephanie Long Settles. One Great-Grandson Trenton Sizemore. Five Great-Granddaughters; Rachel Sizemore, Kendra Sizemore, Madalynn Long, Mckenzie Long, Madison Long. One Great-Great Granddaughter Chloe Elaine Adams. As well as a host of other family members and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Earl Raymond Long will be on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. J.Jamison Brunk officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Warren's Chapel Cemetery in Vincent, KY.
