Blanch C. Nolte, age 87, of Sidney, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Fair Haven Nursing Home in Sidney.  She was born on February 27, 1937, in Anna, to the late Charles and Margry (Hetzler) Davis.  She married Robert L. Nolte and he preceded her in death.

Blanch is survived by two grandchildren: Christopher and Tyler; two nieces: Lisa Geuy and Jenny Coverstone; and one sister-in-law: Doris Coverstone.  In addition to her parents and husband, Blanch was preceded in death by two sons: Richard Nolte and Tim Nolte; one daughter: Julia Nolte; and one brother: William Davis. 

Blanch was a 1955 graduate of Sidney High School.  She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.  Blanch worked for 20 years for United Telephone Company.  She was a great cook and had a large book of recipes.  Blanch loved decorating for all the seasons and spending time with her family and friends.  She really loved her kittens, Daisy and Muffin.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ with Pastor Jim Oates officiating.
