William Ray Miller Obituary

William “Bill” R. Miller, 61, of Middlefield, OH, passed away Saturday evening, May 11th, 2024 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. He was born in Wichita, KS on July 13th, 1962 to Robert L. and Glenna (Richardson) Miller. Bill later married the love of his life and best friend, Peggy Thomas, on June 10th, 2009.

He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army. Bill worked many years at MK Technologies manufacturing electrical parts. Bill's favorite moments were quiet mornings spent fishing and warm afternoons grilling, smoking and BBQing delicious food for his family and friends. He had a passion for cooking and sharing his recipes with others as well as his love for sci-fi novels and series.  His only request was that his family and friends gather in celebration of his life by way of eating good Texas BBQ and listening to a favorite Pink Floyd song:  Shine On You Crazy Diamond.

Bill was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 15 years, Peggy; his mother, Glenna Miller; step-mother, Joyce Miller; daughters, Virginia (Brenden) Allen and Olivia (Ryan) Mulvihill; step-daughter, Rhiannon (Jacob) Fox; step-son, Connor (Beth) Fox; grandchildren, Lily Mulvihill and Sophia Fox; sister, Robbyn Miller; step-sister, Vicki Simpson; step-brother, Kevin Benz; and many friends.

A PRIVATE CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE.
