JOHN J. KREMER Obituary

     John J. (Jack) Kremer, age 89, born April 30, 1935 went to be with our Lord on May 13, 2024. He was formerly of Presidential Lakes, Browns Mills, NJ where he resided since 1965. He spent the last 2 years living in Cape May, N.J.

     He was born in Kampsville, Illinois. At age 20 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and attained the distinguished rank of 1st Sergeant (E-8). He was a proud retired Veteran who served two tours in Vietnam. He was a heavily decorated soldier with a Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal and an Army Air Medal in addition to numerous unit and campaign awards. Following his military service of 23 years, he worked as a Master Craftsman in finish carpentry and was also the owner of “Sauna Health & Leisure.” In his leisure time he enjoyed gardening, bowling, boating, and watching racing.  He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

     He was predeceased by his parents Victor and Ruby Kremer, his brother Art Kremer and his beloved wife Gisela (Gerdes-Jentner) of 54 years. They will now be reunited as they spend eternity together in Heaven. He is survived by his three sons and their wives, Kenneth J. Kremer & wife Peggy, Captain Perry J. Kremer, U.S. Coast Guard (retired) & wife Gina, Michael A. Kremer & wife Janet, three brothers and one sister, Victor (Junior) Kremer & wife Judy (deceased), Rick Kremer & Kay, Frank Kremer & wife Julie, Joy Waters & husband Carrell. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

     Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service honoring and celebrating the life of John (Jack) with a viewing and visitation 10:00 am to 12 Noon, with a memorial service at 12:00 pm, Thursday May 16th at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 31 Elizabeth St, Pemberton Borough, N.J.

     Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 pm at BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, North Hanover Twp. Interment to follow.

     In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in John’s name to the Veterans Association of America.
