Robert Lee “Bob” Richardson Jr.

 Age 59, of Minot, ND., formerly of Carson City, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Bob was born October 25, 1964, in Carson City, the son of Robert “Bob” and Julia (Jacobs) Richardson. He graduated from Carson City High School. He served in the US Navy and the Reserves and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Carson City. Bob was a very skilled construction worker and could build or repair anything. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, helping those in need and socializing with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother Julia (Randy) Smith, brother Thomas (Lori) Richardson, sister Tracy (Jeff) Naert, nieces Chelsea, Kaitlynn, nephew Joshua, great nieces and great nephew.

Bob was preceded in death by his father Bob, son Nicholas and a great nephew.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 11 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Carson City. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Maryknoll Cemetery immediately following Mass. Visitation will be held one hour prior to time of Mass on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City.
