Robert P. Casterella Obituary

Robert P. Casterella is survived by his sisters Joy and Tina, his children John, Anthony, Nicholas, Dana, Robbie, Marie, his many nieces and nephews including Samantha, Tyron, and Harry. Those who know Bob know that he was always a kind and loving soul. His favorite hobbies were fishing and hunting. Bob especially loved the holiday season, he made every Thanksgiving full of amazing homemade foods, and every Christmas fun and full of laughter, cheer, and love. Even at his long time work place he made people laugh and have a good time. He was a sincere man with pure intentions. Even while undergoing his chemo and radiation treatments he was able to strike up amusing and enjoyable conversations with his doctors and nurses. Most of all, Bob was a fighter, he didn't let his cancer keep him down. Even when finished with a five hour round of chemo he would list off the things he had to complete within the day. He let no man or illness knock him down without putting up a fight. Bob should be an example for many, he never backed down, he ALWAYS spoke his mind, and he never held back his opinions. Although Bob has passed, he may now join the group of family and friends that had entered eternal life before him, may he feel at peace, and may he no longer be suffering. He will be sorely missed, but all of his family and friends know that he was in pain and suffering and is relieved and finally at peace. Visitation
