Arthur H. Klein, born on Sept 14, 1924 passed away on Mar 27 2015 in Mt Kisco, NY. Arthur was the son of Alex and Adele Klein who preceded him in death. Arthur was also preceded in death by his son Jeffery Klein and granddaughter Jill Klein Arthur is survived by his wife, Charlotte Klein, son Steven Klein, Daughter Sally Klein, and granddaughter Jacqueline Klein. Arthur was a veteran of WWII having honorably served in both the Phillipine and Japanese theaters. After returning to civilian life, Arthur graduated Cooper Union with a degree in chemical engineering and went on to earn a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering at NYU. Arthur worked as a sanitary engineer for the City of NY, Cortland and Tompkins county, Lederle Laboratories at Pearl River, City of New Rochelle, Wyoming County, Genesee County and the US Department of Mining. He retired from the Real Estate Division at the Attorney Generals office NY Department of Law where he had an office in the World Trade Center Twin Towers. Arthur was noted for his sense of humor and fabulous collection of jokes for any occasion. He enjoyed sharing his love of Railroads, especially steam locomotives at various public programs in Mt Kisco and elsewhere. Arthur's love of railroads carried him as far as the Peoples Republic of China where he explored the Chinese rail system and visited the plants where the last steam locomotives were built. There will be a service at 1 PM, King David Memorial Chapel 288 East Main St Mt.Kisco, NY
